3 Ideas For Simple Beautifully Wrapped Presents This Year

Image from Nordic Nest

Do you love to wrap gifts or does the thought make your heart sink?

Here's some inspiration and tips on easy ways to wow your recipients with some lovely wrapping that are also pretty easy to achieve.

1. Get some plain wrapping paper, some ribbon/string and go outside to grab some greenery. It's an old classic that never fails. Find some evergreen leaves, berries or dried flowers and tuck some underneath your ribbon. 'Go big' for extra effect!

2. Learn how to make macrame leaves (how to video below) and create some in all sizes, these are then little extra gifts for your recipient that they can keep and hang up or use on the Christmas tree! It's maybe a bit fiddly at first, but once you get going with these, they are super simple, I promise.

3. Try out something new, something I want to try this year is the Japanese Furoshiki'fabric wrapping' idea. There's also some great tips on this blog from Nordic Nest, full of zero waste ideas for wrapping

What kind of gift wrap have you got planned this year?
