It was a very cute pattern. Picture showed three designs but pattern never distinguished that or video. It ended up cute where I stopped in the tier. Added a cat for my granddaughter!
Can’t find the gauge so made the hat but will only fit a child. I want to make it again seeing as I’ve bought the pattern. But a gauge please.

So you can work on your own hat asap, my granny squares measure 8cm x 8cm when using the hook and cotton weight advised on the pattern.
If you'd like me to make and measure a gauge for the top section, get in touch and I'll do that too.

I’m sure it is me, not good at patterns, but read reviews that said was easy. Got to page 3 and struggled, doesn’t look right so pulled it all out🙄 I’m going to keep trying!
Hi Linda, It's highly advisable to follow the added video tutorials if you're having any trouble (the QR code on your pattern and I've linked to the blog post with them below too) , I think that's why no one else has trouble. They will help you with that all important first row of the peaks. https://www.ekawear.com/blogs/news/make-your-own-crocheted-crowns - let me know if you're still having trouble after following those.

A fabulous crocheted crown, excellent workmanship and a speedy service. So pleased with the first one I got that I ordered another for a friend's Christmas present!!
I am famous for ploughing ahead and not reading patterns closely, always eager to finish and applying my own logic, usually resulting in having to unpick everything at least twice! Anything I actually complete is famously huge. I learned so much whilst completing this project, I concentrated, the pattern was clear, the videos easy to follow. It’s finished! Naturally, I didn’t quite stick to the pattern, it’s huge…I’m giving it to mum (aged 91) for Christmas, she’ll love it. Meanwhile, I’ll concentrate and make a smaller (much) one for my granddaughter. 😎
What a lovely review to read, I LOVE that you're like me and struggle to follow instructions, I feel genuinely delighted that I was able to keep you on track with the pattern and videos. Your crown looks ace, if you need any help scaling down for the baby one, let me know (1 section of 10 rib should do the trick, as written on the patten)

Bought this a while ago , only just got round to making some . Granddaughter loves hers also just finished a Christmassy one . Used a thicker wool but still came out great !

This stocking delighted the whole family, it is summer and it's already hanging up!
I haven’t started my hat yet but here’s the plan…11 year old granddaughter crochets better than I do. We get together in July. Our plan is to spend our days on the Eastern Shore/Chesapeake Bay talking the week away, watching the water, and making our bucket hats. Grammy and her girl. All thanks to you!
